Overall Grade: Good

Comment: Deep purplish red in a near heart shape. Giant face (easy 4 carat) but zero window. Mild but with a nice sparkle. Only the trained eye will catch some minor and colorless swirly inclusions. Clearly a pendant gem or an investment into the ever tighter market for untreated gem-quality(!) rubies, especially over 2 carats. This ruby comes from old 2007 stock and we don't see much of it anymore, at least not under 10k/carat.
