Comment: This ruby comes to us from the 80ties when Vietnam suddenly gained world fame with "Burma-quality" rubies from a new mine in the south. The mines have run dry long ago but this gem passed two decades in the hands of a Vietnamese collector. As the camera could hardly hide, it is a glower. You may leave your emergency torch at home when wearing this gem in ring. Magic. Slightly shallow in the center but no loss of color. Even hard-boiled gem dealers do not often see such a fluorescence. And here, with us, certified unheated of course.
